Laura Montiel

Laura Montiel is an established local who enjoys providing a service that helps people feel good about their feet and nails. Laura attended Euphoria Institute of Beauty in Las Vegas, graduating in 2002. She worked for 7 years in the beauty business before opening her own shop, Bliss Salon, in 2009. 

Creating custom colors and designs with acrylic is the most enjoyable part of my day.

Hair Stylist

April is a long-time local, specializing in blondes and balayages. She graduated from Paul Mitchell Hair & Beauty School.

Mariana Lucido

Marianna Lucido is an award winning hair designer. She owned and managed Lucido’s Hair and Image Design for more than 20 years in Los Angeles, California, and was co-owner and artistic director of Paragon International Academy, an advanced hair design school based in San Diego, Ca.  

Marianna has worked as an educator and a hair and make-up distributor for the Sebastian/Wella Corporation. She has also been published in numerous professional trade and beauty magazines, such as Harper’s Bazaar, Mademoiselle,  Modern Salon, American Salon, Our Wedding, and Modern Bride, as well as in Los Angeles Times Magazine and Valley Magazine. Her training includes seminars from: Vidal Sassoon, Martin Parsons, Alan Bush, Teri Donnelly, Paul Mitchell, Sebastian International, Wella, Trevor Sorbie, Toni & Guy, Gary Gerard, Rusk, and the Institute of Trichology. She has coordinated dozens of hair shows, appeared on the “Eye on L.A.” television show, worked as hairstylist for Polygram Films and served as a hair and make-up artist for Sergio Mendes (music video).

While in Tahoe, Marianna has provided hair and make-up services for news anchors Susan Li and  Amanda Drury of CNBC, hair services for Cindy Wilson of the B52’s, and hair and make-up services for Olympic gold medalist Hannah Teter for various print promotions. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Lake Tahoe Wedding and Honeymoon Association.

Marianna can attend to the hair and make-up needs of your entire wedding party and will make sure that your special day is worry-free.
